Across-herd Genetic Evaluation Awareness Workshops NSW

All AAA members in NSW interested in ways to improve their alpaca breeding program are invited to attend one of two free AGE Workshops to be held in NSW.


The first, hosted by the Hawkesbury/Blue Mountains Region will be at:
The Richmond Club
Saturday 6th September 2003
6 East Market St Richmond
10:30am to 3pm

Morning tea will be provided; lunch is available at the Club.

Sunday 7th September 2003
McKell Pl Goulburn
10:30am to 3pm

Allan Casey, ABS Orange, will present a general explanation of the AGE Program and answer questions before a break for lunch at midday - available at moderate cost in the Club. Free tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. The afternoon sessions will cover more detail on AGE participation and trait measurement, and practical examples relating to a typical alpaca herd. A free set of notes covering all presentation material will be available to all attendees.
